delivery and returns

Delivery

Subject to stock availability, we aim to dispatch your order within five working days, although orders placed on Friday or Saturday may take slightly longer.

UK Delivery

Standard Service

Two day delivery from dispatch date charged at a flat rate of £4.95 (unless otherwise stated) using the Royal Mail.

Express Delivery

Express Delivery is charged at a flat rate of £7.95 using Royal Mail or Parcelforce signed for services.
Orders received before 12.00pm Monday-Thursday will be processed that day and delivered on the next working day.
Orders placed after 12.00pm will be processed on the next working day, so the item will be delivered two working days after the order is placed.
Orders placed Friday-Sunday will be processed and despatched on Monday, and delivered on Tuesday.

Delivery to Europe and Eire*

For international deliveries to Europe and Eire, we use the Royal Mail International signed for service which costs £9.95.

Delivery to the Rest of the World*

For deliveries to the rest of the world we use the Royal Mail International signed for service which costs £14.95.

* Please note that we have no control over local customs authorities and cannot be held responsible for items being confiscated, delayed or incurring import duties.

Alcohol Policy

Alcoholic drinks can be purchased from this website for collection only. By agreeing to you confirm that if you are purchasing alcohol you are of at least the minimum legal age required to purchase and consume alcohol. In accordance with the Licensing Act 2003 it is an offence for any person in the United Kingdom under the age of 18 to buy or attempt to buy intoxicating liquor, or for any person over the age of 18 to buy intoxicating liquor on behalf of any person under the age of 18.


RETURNS

If you are not entirely satisfied you may return your selection to us in a saleable condition for either refund or exchange at any time within one month of purchase.   Please note that goods are returned at your own cost and we recommend the use of a registered postal service for your protection.  If the goods are being returned due to an error on our part, your postal costs will be refunded.   Please allow up to 14 days once you have returned your parcel for any exchange to be processed or refund to be credited.

Order Processing:

If you buy from us, we require your name, billing address, delivery address, email address and phone number. This information is required so that we can process your order efficiently.

On placement of your order your data is placed in our master database.

Payment Processing

So that we can process payments online we require your name and the billing address for the credit card used to pay online. Our external payment provider requires your credit card details and these do not touch our systems and are encrypted using the latest version of SSL technology. Abbey Mill do not store nor have access to your credit card details on our systems.

Transactions can be placed using Paypal, it is the user’s responsibility to abide by all the terms specified by Paypal in their terms of use and privacy policies, including but not limited to any age restrictions specified therein.

Telephone/Post

So that we can process payments for telephone, we require your name and billing address which will be entered by our sales representatives on to our systems. Our external payment provider requires your credit card details and these do not touch our systems but are entered via a Verifone Iframe using the latest version of SSL technology.

Abbey Mill does not store nor have access to your credit card details on our systems.
