All about Abbey Mill
Abbey Mill is an award winning family business that has been trading in Tintern village since 1936. Our well-established and independent craft and shopping complex is currently run by the 3rd and 4th generations of the Rastall family. The Mill is set amidst breathtaking scenery in the heart of the Wye Valley on the banks of the River Wye and offers a relaxed setting for your enjoyment. Include Abbey Mill in your Tour of Wales itinerary, along with its historic buildings and recently renovated turning Old Water Wheel. The site includes many of the original mill buildings of Tintern Abbey, which was founded in 1131. Also see the waterfall and the remains of the Tudor dockyard, which is now filled with trout and watched over by our own dragon!
LOTS TO SEE AND LOTS TO DO!
Come and shop and browse through the 5 distinctively different shops housed in the 'Old Mill Buildings'. Admire the skill and patience of members of the Wye Valley Craft Association demonstrating their individual crafts for you. Then take a rest from it all in our friendly Coffee Shop and Restaurant, which is renowned in the area for both quality and value. If you're looking for an unusual gift or locally made treat, come and see our Spring range at The Mill and Cider Press Shops or pop in and see what's new at the Boat House and The Spirit of the Green Man. You can also browse our on-line shop brochure at home, with deliveries to your doorstep. If you are planning a wedding or party, take a look at our catering service ideas - everything you love with none of the hassle! Abbey Mill is open from February to December, Wednesday till Sunday, 10.30 am to 5pm. Evening opening for groups are also very welcome by prior arrangement.

Awesome little place
A little wonder. Awesome little place, dog friendly, great service. Popped in here as we were driving past and stopped at the little craft shops and then popped in here for some food. Wasn’t expecting much but was super surprised. Dog friendly and a great menu and lots of customers. Had the pie (was huge) as wife had the chowder that was filled with fish. Tripadvisor
